On November 30, 2021, Dr Meena Laad, Professor & Head, Dept. of Applied Sciences, Symbiosis Institute of Technology, gave an open lecture on Critical Thinking in Academic Research. This lecture was presented in the implementation of the interaction between SIT and SNAU within the project “Invited talks”. Given the extreme importance of the skill to think critically in scientists in the implementation of modern research methodology, the lecture aroused considerable interest among PhD students of Sumy National Agrarian University and, despite the time difference, gathered graduate students from Ukraine, Nigeria and China. After an extremely interesting and informative lecture, graduate students had the opportunity to ask questions, participate in discussions and share their experiences of research and preparation of scientific publications.
