On September 24, Sumy NAU hosted a seminar “EU GRANT PROGRAMS: OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUNG SCIENTISTS AND LEADERS OF NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS”. The event was initiated by the Ukrainian Association of Teachers and Researchers of European Integration (APREI) in the framework of the implementation of the EU Erasmus Project + direction named after Jean Monnet: 620395-EPP-1-2020-1-EN-EPPJMO-SUPPA: “EU-Eastern Partnership: Future Ways to Intensify Joint Academic and Civil Society Initiatives in Ukraine”.
The seminar program included:
- review of international educational and research funds, programs;
- acquisition and improvement of participants’ skills in working with international educational and research funds and programs;
- review of issues and methodological techniques and rules of project application preparation;
- practice dissemination for the development of international mobility of teachers and researchers and obtaining additional funding for educational and research activities.
Yurii Danko, the Vice-Rector for Research Work of Sumy NAU, welcomed the participants of the seminar.
The speakers of the event were: Iryna Sikorska, Olena Melnyk, Hanna Duhinets, Roman Kalitchak, Olena Tupakhina, Natalia Yaroshenko, Roman Yaroshchuk, Svitlana Yaroshchuk.
Other Sumy NAU scientists, public activists and civil society leaders were present at the seminar. They had an opportunity to learn about the general rules of project preparation for international programs and foundations, as well as to hear practical advice on ensuring success in working with foundations.
