Sumy National Agrarian University once again confirms its status as a leader in scientific research. A team of young scientists from the university won the competition for projects of fundamental scientific research, applied scientific research and scientific and technical (experimental) developments of young scientists, the financing of which will begin in 2025 from the State Budget of Ukraine (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 27.12.2024 No. 1801).
The project that received support is called “Study of the impact of hostilities on the possibility of obtaining safe agricultural products”. Its leader is Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Maryna SAMILYK. The research will be carried out in the section “Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences” and isaimed at studying important aspects of ensuring food security in turbulent times.
This victory is the result of hard work, innovative approach and dedication of young scientists. The project is designed not only to investigate the risks arising from the consequences of hostilities, but also to propose solutions that will ensure the production of safe agricultural products in Ukraine.
The implementation of this project will be an important step in strengthening the scientific potential of SNAU, will contribute to improving the international image of the university and will help in solving urgent issues of the country’s agricultural sector.
