The city falls asleep. The mafia is waking up. It looks carefully at each of the peaceful residents. Who will be in the crosshairs this time? The mafia makes its choice and secretly disappears…
Only later it turns out that the dean of the Faculty of Biology and Technology, Viktoriia VECHORKA, together with the head of the educational department Nataliia KOLODNENKO, were cunning mafiosi. Coordinated and clear work led them to victory over civilians.
And this is not a fantasy film at all, but the evenings of the intellectual game “Mafia” within the walls of the Sumy National Agrarian University.
In total, there were 11 participants in the game. 3 more deans opposed the familiar mafia: Vladyslav ZUBKO, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Olha BAKUMENKO, the Dean of the Faculty of Agrotechnologies and Natural Resource Management, Nataliia BOLHOVA, the Dean of the Faculty of Food Technologies.
Vitalii KOLODNENKO, the deputy dean of the Faculty of Construction and Transport for educational and economic work, became the sheriff in the game, Liudmyla MYKHAILENKO, the practical psychologist of the department for organizing educational work with SNAU students, was the doctor, and Tetiana KUCHKOVA, the assistant at the Department of Animal Genetics, Breeding and Biotechnology of the Faculty of Biology and Technology, was the mistress. Among the civilians were teachers and employees of SNAU. The presenter of “Mafia” Bohdan NATALYCH, the second-year master’s student in the specialty “Agroengineering”, created an exciting secret mood for the participants.
The initiators of the game were the practical psychologist of the department for the organization of educational work with students of SNAU Liudmyla MYKHAILENKO and the master’s student Bohdan NATALYCH. Telling about the organization of the event, they comment with a smile that they succeeded in their main mission, which was to gather teachers and employees together:
Bohdan NATALYCH notes that he and Ludmila Oleksiivna had the idea of holding “Mafia” for teachers last year, but only in discussion. This year, however, they decided to implement it. He spoke with the student rector Diana DEREVYANCHENKO and received her support. Together, they began to look for and invite teachers who wish to participate.
The organizers express their sincere surprise, because they did not receive negative responses to the invitation. Of course, during the end of the academic semester, teachers and staff have a lot of work. However, even those who could not join were happy to help find a replacement to participate in the intellectual game.
Conducting the intellectual game “Mafia” in friendly evenings in the native and cozy SNAU has already become a tradition for students and teachers.
