An International Seminar on Scientometry for Young Scientists Took Place

October, 31–November, 1, 2019 a 2-day seminar for the representatives of Sumy State University and Sumy National Agrarian University was organized. It was aimed at acquainting the young researchers and doctoral students with the essence of scientific research, with the basics of scientific work and also with the principles of scientometry. The expert and the speaker was the Czech University of Life Sciences professor David Herák, an editor of several scientific journals indexed in WoS and SCOPUS.
The participants made a feedback that the obtained knowledge will help them to successfully publish a scientific article and correctly submit an application of a research grant project. All participants attending the seminars were awarded the certificates of participation in a multi-day international seminar.
The seminar was organized within the “Support of young university capacity in education and research and science activities in Ukraine” project implemented by the Czech University of Live Sciences in Prague, the SSU, the SNAU, and the BTNAU financed by the Czech Development Agency. The project co-coordinator for the Ukrainian side is Oksana Zamora, Associate Professor of the Department of International Economic Relations of the ERI of the Business Technologies “UABS” of Sumy State University.
We are inviting everyone interested to take part in the seminars series planned for November 11-13. Their topics are the following: research project design and management, digitalization of the education, setting up the university internal systems for human resources in research and science. Three Czech experts will be invited to lead the seminars.
