This year the Ukrainian calendar is rich in anniversaries. Thus, in summer they celebrate two holidays at once – the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the Basic Law and the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence.
In order to note the importance of these dates, a report concert “The City I love” took place in Sumy on the 28th of June, the Constitution Day, as a part of the regional festival “With Eternal Love to you, Native Land!” The SNAU Exemplary Ballroom Dance Ensemble SWAY (leaders: Yurii Serheev and Kseniia Blumska-Danko) and the Student Academic Choir “Yunist” (a leader: Alina Bilovol) became active participants in the concert.
For high achievements in organizing the creativity of student youth, Sumy Mayor Oleksandr Lysenko and the Head of the Department of Culture of the Sumy City Council Nataliia Tsyibulska awarded the Department for Organizing Educational Activity with Students of Sumy NAU with honorary diplomas.
