On 13 February, representatives of Sumy National Agrarian University, including staff from each of the eight faculties, visited the city Romny and had the opportunity to talk to eleventh-graders and tell them about SNAU.
Thanks to the career guidance platform ‘Your Choice is Your Future’, each faculty presented its own specialities and educational programmes to more than one hundred and fifty people, and shared with applicants the interesting and unique features of studying in each of them.
In addition, student volunteers, who were also involved in the event, shared with high school students their own experience of studying in a particular speciality and at SNAU in general, taking their own stories of studying at our university as an example.
Anna SYNIAHOVSKA, one of the students who visited Romny with the others, shared her thoughts on the trip with us:
‘This career guidance event left a positive impression on me! The communication with future students, their sincere interest in entering the university and their questions about the specifics of studying were inspiring. Personally, I had the opportunity to share with them about my studies in Marketing, as well as my experience of participating in the Faculty’s student self-government. I am glad that in such a cool atmosphere I became a part of something special, and together with others I showed the students what prospects SNAU has and why they should choose it.’
