On December 24 and 25, students of Sumy National Agrarian University are creating a Christmas fairy
tale for teachers and residents of the city.
The charitable initiative to create the performance came from the first deputy chairman of the primary
trade union organization of students and postgraduates of the university, Victoria TOKAR, and with the
support of the musical director of the department for organizing educational work with students of the
university, Marina ROMANENKO. The festive theatrical scene was inspired by the atmosphere of the
movie “Evenings on a Farm near Dikanka”.
“Oh, is the master at home or not?” was heard by everyone whose door the students came to. And in
two days it was not a few places! During December 24, the rector of the university, Ihor KOVALENKO, as
well as vice rectors, deans, and teachers of all eight faculties, visited the Ginkgo Cafe and dormitories.
And on Christmas Day, our nativity scene delighted a distinguished audience from all over the city!
Among them were:
– Sumy District State Administration
– Sumy City Council
– Department of Agricultural Development of Sumy Regional State Administration
– Department of Education and Science of Sumy Regional State Administration
– Department of Architecture and Urban Development of Sumy City Council

We express our sincere gratitude to everyone involved! It is difficult to survive in today’s environment
without the support of such initiatives. However, we are aware of the current conditions, so the funds
raised from the generosity will be donated to charity.
We are also grateful to the audience! Your smiles and sincere emotions are the best reward for our
efforts!
“Good evening, Master! Rejoice! Oh, rejoice in the earth! The Son of God is born!”
