The Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO) provided a generator to the Sumy National Agrarian University free of charge on March 7, 2024.
The generator, which is now available at the SNAU base, will ensure an uninterrupted scientific and educational process of spreading the best experience of organic production in our country.
Such logistical support is provided within the framework of the project “Emergency Livelihood and Energy Assistance to Vulnerable Farmers and Small/Medium Agricultural Processing Enterprises in Newly Accessible and Other Conflict-Affected Areas of Ukraine” with the support of the German Government through the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
The team of the Sumy National Agrarian University is sincerely grateful for the support during a difficult time for our country! We are convinced that together we will be able to overcome all the challenges of wartime and continue to live and work at full capacity!

For the first time, a delegation of the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO) visited the Sumy National Agrarian University in September 2022.
