The administration of Sumy National Agrarian University informs that from November 8, 2021, for the period of quarantine established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, vaccination against COVID-19 is mandatory for employees of our university.
Based on the order of the Ministry of Health “On approval of the List of professions, industries and organizations whose employees are subject to mandatory preventive vaccinations” from October 4, 2021 № 2153 and paragraph 41-6 of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from 09.12.2020 № 1236, employees of SNAU must provide the Department of Occupational Safety (a senior paramedic O. Leshchenko, e-mail: v_ohorony_pratsy@sau.sumy.ua), a document confirming the presence of preventive vaccination against COVID-19 V by November 5, 2021, for example:
- a document confirming that you have received a full course of vaccination or one dose of a two-dose vaccine from COVID-19, included in the WHO list of permitted for use in emergencies;
- an international, domestic certificate or a foreign certificate confirming vaccination against COVID-19 with one dose of two-dose vaccine (a yellow certificate) or one dose of single-dose vaccine or two doses of two-dose vaccine (a green certificate), which are included in the WHO list of permitted situations.
You can also provide a certificate of absolute contraindications in accordance with the List of medical contraindications and warnings for preventive vaccinations, approved by the order of the Ministry of Health of September 16, 2011 № 595.
If you do not provide one of these documents by November 5, 2021, then on November 8, 2021 you will be suspended from work without pay on the basis of Article 46 of the Labor Code of Ukraine and Article 12 of the Law of Ukraine “On Protection of Infectious Diseases” from 06.04. 2000 № 1645-III.
We would also like to inform you that the period of suspension from work without pay will not be included in the insurance period for the purpose of pension and payment of temporary incapacity for work, because during this period the employer will not pay the insurance premium for you. The period of suspension without pay will not be included in the length of work experience, which gives the right to annual leave (Article 9 of the Law of Ukraine “On Holidays” of 15.11.1996 № 504/96-VR).
