LAW WEEK WAS HELD AT SNAU

As part of the Law Week, a number of events were held at the Faculty of Law, which aimed to acquaint students with the legal profession and increase the knowledge of SNAU students about their chosen specialty.

The week began with a meeting with the head of the department of organizational and personnel work of Sumy City Council – Andrii Antonenko, who acquainted the audience with the activities of local government.

Pupils of the secondary school №1 were able to improve their English and increase knowledge in the field of law by taking part in the intellectual game “WHAT? WHERE? WHEN?”, which was developed by associate professors of the Department of International Relations Nataliia Klietsova and Nataliia Volchenko.

The online meeting with Oleksandr Morhun, an experienced private notary and well-known blogger from Lviv, turned out to be no less interesting and productive. The meeting provided a “question-answer” format, where everyone could find out interesting information.

Students of the Faculty of Law had an opportunity to discuss the topic of advocacy in Ukraine and abroad with the candidate of law, partner of the bar association “KORPUS JURIS”, member of the bar Association of Sumy region – Oleksandr Chernadchuk.

The Law Week ended with an intellectual legal quiz. It was attended by 4 teams – students of the legal department of Sumy Vocational College of SNAU, who competed with each other answering various questions, completing tasks and solving puzzles.

The Law Week proved to be useful and effective for future employees in the field of law.
