On June 26, 2024, a scheduled meeting of the Academic Council of Sumy National Agrarian University was held, chaired by Acting Rector Volodymyr LADYKA.

The following issues are on the agenda:

  1. On the state of use of contractual obligations by the university’s academic staff in the academic year 2023-2024 (Speaker: Vice-Rector for Research and Academic Affairs Ihor KOVALENKO);
  2. On the implementation of the internationalization strategy at Sumy NAU for 2023-2024 (Speaker: Head of the Research Department Oleksandr IVCHENKO);
  3. On the results of work and prospects for the development of scientific laboratories (Speaker: Head of the Research Department Oleksandr IVCHENKO);
  4. On the preparation of the university for the new academic year 2024-2025. (Speaker: Vice-Rector for Scientific, Pedagogical and Academic Affairs Ihor KOVALENKO);
  5. On the implementation of the decisions of the Academic Council in the academic year 2023-2024. (Speaker: Secretary of the Academic Council Anatolii RAZUMENKO);

One of the important stages of the Academic Council was the voting for the awarding of the honorary title of Professor of the Department of Food Technology and Safety to Maryna SAMILYK. The voting process was attended by 50 people present at the event.  The decision to award the title was made unanimously. The members of the counting commission were Natalia KOLODENKO, Andrii MELNYK and Mykhailo PYRKHA.
