On December 6, the Sumy National Agrarian University, on the occasion of St. Nicholas Day, opened the New Year tree! Strength lies in national traditions, symbols and amulets. Indomitability is in the irresistible desire to live, study, develop the country and create the future. This is how the university family of SNAU lives and works.

Children of university employees and children of immigrants living in dormitories of SNAU were invited to the celebration. A real fairy tale was organized for the children – they sang songs and danced around a large Christmas tree. In addition, Saint Nicholas, snowflakes and even Winter visited the audience, who played games with the little ones, solved riddles and gave gifts.

Attention to children and organizing holidays for young visitors is always a priority of SNAU. University Rector Ihor KOVALENKO adds:

“The role and mission of the university is to congratulate these wonderful kids. Miracles must happen, we believe in it and will do everything so that the children, despite everything, feel this festive mood. May a smile appear on your face as often as possible”

After the event, everyone had the opportunity to take pictures with the holiday heroes and the huge Christmas tree, which is a symbol of New Year’s magic. The winter fairy tale began right within the walls of Sumy National Agrarian University!
