THE NATIONAL POLICE WARNS
The occupiers use drones to place (drop) explosive devices disguised as familiar, local objects that look forgotten or discarded: soft toys, garbage (most often juice boxes or opaque plastic (metal) bottles), small womens or mens bags (clutches, purses), wallets, cell phones, hats, mobile phones, document folders, plastic containers, etc.

If you find such an item, do not touch it – it may endanger your life or health.

The photos show examples of explosive items found by citizens.


Algorithm of actions in case of detection of a suspicious object:

– be sure to call the National Police Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit (NPDU) in Sumy region: (0542) 667-806, 050 402 89 06 or 101 or 102 and report the discovery of a suspicious object;
– remain calm;
– warn people nearby about the suspicious object and mark or fence it off;
– wait for the rescuers at a safe distance from the place of discovery;

We ask everyone to be as cautious as possible and always remember that suspicious objects are dangerous.
