IAMO is pleased to announce a scholarship competition for researchers from Ukraine who are engaged in labour market research in domestic agriculture with the aim of the sector sustainable development. Each scholarship is designed for up to three months length of stay in Germany, scheduled for the period from April to November 2024.
What does IAMO offer?
- A unique research and training opportunity within a diverse and motivated team of scientists who value interdisciplinary research;
- Active and effective collaboration in the production of quality journal publications;
- A research scholarship up to three months with a monthly amount of EUR 934 to EUR 2000, depending on the qualifications of the candidate;
- Additional travel expenses to and from Halle (Germany) will be reimbursed up to 350 Euros;
- IAMO provides office space for the duration of the research stay;
- Participation in IAMO scientific events and events of Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg.
Interested in candidates should send an application package in English, which includes:
- Motivation letter (max. 1 page): please explain your specific research interests and indicate your preferences with respect to the research questions mentioned above
- CV, including a list of academic publications;
- Copies of documents confirming academic qualifications and professional skills (diploma, certificates, etc.), language certificate, if available;
- Electronic copies of the master’s/diploma thesis and selected (co-authored) scientific publications, if they are written in English;
- Names and contact details of two academic referees.
