On August 31, the Academic Council chaired by the Rector of the University, Academician Volodymyr Ladyka took place.

- The implementation of the university development strategy and tasks for 2021-2022 academic year

Various issues were considered.
A ceremonial meeting of Sumy NAU Academic Council was held.
The celebration was attended by special guests: Deputy Head of Sumy Regional State Administration V. Medvid, Director of the Department of Education and Science of Sumy Regional State Administration V. Grobova, Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine M. Ananchenko, Honored Architect of Ukraine, Principal Architect of Sumy Region V. Bykov, Chairman of the Sumy Regional Council, Chairman of the Supervisory Board V. Fedorchenko, Deputy of the Regional Council O. Kuzhel.
During the event Oleksandr Kobzhev was thanked for many years of rewarding work, high professionalism and significant contribution to the development of agricultural education. The awards were presented to the best students of the faculties and the academic staff of Sumy NAU.
The Rector also presented certificates, diplomas of candidates and doctors of sciences to the academic members.
The Rector handed over the student’s record books to the freshmen of Sumy National Agrarian University.
The Academic Council of Sumy NAU ended with wishes for peace, prosperity, harmony and health.
