On the 17th of September the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” hosted a meeting on the results of the 1st pre-incubation educational program on innovative entrepreneurship Innovation & Entrepreneurship Bootcamp.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Embassy of the United States of America, higher education institutions of Ukraine. Sumy National Agrarian University was represented by Vice-Rector for Research Work, Professor Yurii Danko.
The program of the event included the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between NTU “KhPI” with American eo Business Incubators, Donetsk National Technical University, Kremenchuh National University named after M. Ostrohradskyi, NU “Poltava Polytechnic named after Yurii Kondratyuk”, Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, Sumy National Agrarian University.
The purpose of the memorandum is to coordinate activity for the development of startup projects, young enterprises and entrepreneurs to renew the Ukrainian economy. The base for the work will be the Startup Center “Spark” of NTU “KhP” in partnership with the American eo Business Incubators. The memorandum provides: creation and development of an ecosystem in which universities, pre-incubators, incubators, accelerators, mentors, venture funds, investors, high-tech companies, creative startups, successfully interact; formation of appropriate conditions for the development of the startup ecosystem, taking into account the best world practices; international commercialization of scientific and technical developments of Ukrainian universities, development of universities’ connection with global high-tech business, intensification of integration of education, science and business; conducting lectures, master classes, sprints, boot camps, trainings, business games, competitions and contests of innovative projects, individual cooperation of startups with international mentors; round tables and conferences for project implementation; meetings with well-known professionals, mentors, coaches in their fields; other measures for innovative development.
