Sumy National Agrarian University initiates fundraising for the manufacturing of trench candles, which are so necessary for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in cold weather.
This year’s winter is not associated with the joy of the first snow, the gentle tingling of the skin because of frost, or the sparkle of New Year’s fireworks. The cold brings us a new responsibility – to provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine with trench candles.
Trench candles are a necessity for soldiers. As our soldiers say this is a very multifunctional invention. Firstly, in winter it can be used to warm your hands, and this is very important for a soldier. Secondly, you can heat up a can of stew or some other canned food on it. Thirdly, it is a source of light. Fourthly, it is quite safe, because it does not give a high flame.
