Celebration of Science Day took place in Sumy on May 20. Leading scientists of higher education institutions of Sumy Region gathered at the Youth Center “Romantika” to present their achievements and accomplishments. Representatives of Sumy National Agrarian University also presented their scientific achievements.
In order to stimulate Sumy scientists for further fruitful work, Sumy Regional State Administration and Sumy City Council noted the best scientists: Lyudmyla Nahorna – Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor of the Department of Veterinary Examination, Microbiology, Zoohygiene and Safety and Quality of Livestock Products of SNAU, Vladyslav Zubko – Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Tractors, Agricultural Machinery and Transportation Technologies of SNAU. Oleksandr Nechyporenko, Alona Klochko, Nataliia Kravchenko, Tetiana Ustik, Inna Zubtsova, Nataliia Kolodnenko were awarded diplomas by the Department of Education and Science of Sumy Regional State.
The project of Svitlana Yaroshchuk – a senior researcher of the scientific laboratory “Forestry of Northeast Ukraine”, “Preservation and Reproduction of Protective Forest Stands of the North-eastern Forest-steppe of Ukraine on the Example of EU Experience” received a diploma of the winner of the competition of young scientists ” Innovative Sumy 2021”.
