Sumy NAU is now cooperating with Odesa National Technological University in accordance with the signed agreements.
The relevance of developing cooperation with Ukrainian and foreign educational institutions is very important for Sumy National Agrarian University. It affects the improvement of teachers’ qualifications, the development of the material and technical base, the attraction of advanced innovations, and thus the quality of educational processes.
Sumy NAU has recently become one of the parties to a new cooperation agreement. During an official working visit to Odesa National Technological University on behalf of the acting rector of SNАU Volodymyr LADYKA, Vice-Rector for Research and International Activities Yurii DANKO signed the relevant documents: The Cooperation Agreement and the Agreement on Scientific and Technical Cooperation. It is expected that the cooperation between the educational institutions will last for about 5 years with the possibility of extension. The agreements envisage joint work on scientific and technical cooperation to improve capacity through the involvement of researchers, postgraduate students and students.
In the course of our joint work and during the inspection of the material and technical base of ONTU, Yurii DANKO was lucky enough to visit the newest laboratory of sensory analysis. It is used to train and develop skills for future sommeliers and tasters. The vice-rector of SNAU was invited to taste a unique wine variety made from a domestic grape hybrid called Odesa Black.
For Sumy NAU, cooperation with ONTU provides an opportunity to improve the skills of its specialists. It also contributes to the development of joint projects that will enhance research and improve the quality of education. The exchange of experience will benefit the representatives of both universities and create conditions for the formation of their own unique development opportunities. Involving students directly in cooperation will allow us to launch our own hub for the development of student ideas and potentials through joint efforts.
This event became the basis for close cooperation between Sumy NAU and Odesa NTU, opening up new unique opportunities for students and staff of both educational institutions. Research and academic exchange, participation in international projects will become even more accessible as part of the joint work.
