The meeting was organized by the Public Organization “Ukrainian Student League”, the goal of which was a dialogue with government officials and heads of student self-governments of various higher education institutions of Ukraine. A feature of the communication was that representatives of each university were able to ask only one question. SNAU students asked:

“Do they plan to adjust educational programs for people with inclusion or disabilities?”

The answer was as follows:

“The process is already underway. There is a training program for people who have lost their sight, we are currently looking for funding for a new system. In addition, it is planned to create places for learning, co-working, social spaces and modernization of dormitories”

After the conditional press conference, at the networking event, Mariia and Viktoriia met with representatives of the Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University, improved interaction with the State University “Zhytomyr Polytechnic” and the Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after G.S. Skovoroda.

Mariia PETUKHOVA notes the importance of such meetings:

“The event left an incredible impression, because the feeling of involvement in a huge student union of all of Ukraine is incredibly valuable. This is also an opportunity not just to be at an online conference, but to become part of the action here and now, to sit side by side with like-minded people, with the same young people who are not indifferent to the fate of the country”
