SNAU Students Became Experts in Quality Assurance of Education

Students of Sumy NAU took part in a training program designed to engage young people in the processes of ensuring the quality of education at the institutional and national levels.

The event was initiated by the Ukrainian Association of Students with the support of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (NAQA).

On May 23-25, applicants from all over the country took part in the QA Pool training program in a full-time format at Poltava State Medical University.

Young people who are studying in Ukrainian educational institutions and are not experts in the accreditation of educational programs by the NQAEA were involved. Additional advantages were participation in the activities of student self-government or other organizations, proficiency in English, studying at a university whose student body is not a collective member of the Association.

The youth delegation from Sumy National Agrarian University was represented by Dmytro VLASOV, Anastasia ALYEKSEICHYK, Victoria ROSTOKA, Karina ZAIKA, Denys TRIPOLSKY, and Iryna LOBACHEVA. The students say that the training program involved mostly group work. The students learned about the quality of education at the institutions and the participation of student experts in the implementation of these processes.

It is worth noting that the student government of Sumy National Agrarian University, one of the few in Sumy region, is a member of the Ukrainian Student Association and works closely with it on initiatives and projects aimed at protecting the rights of students, conducting training programs, ensuring the quality of education, supporting student initiatives, international representation of Ukrainian students, and coordinating the SGA election process.
