Sumy National Agrarian University cooperates with many partner countries, builds strong relationships with international organizations, universities and participates in exchange programs for students. It’s an institution focused on Western educational and scientific standards.
One of the exchange programs is the international mobility Erasmus +, which is implemented jointly with the Czech University of Natural Sciences in Prague. SNAU has been cooperating with it since 2015.
At the beginning of February 2022, three students of our university were selected and went to study in the Czech Republic for the spring semester.
The participants in the exchange were: Yana Klymenko (the 4th-year Faculty of Economics and Management), Oleksandr Sereda and Liliia Serhienko (the student of the 4th year of Law Faculty). They will study at the Faculty of Agro-Tropical Sciences in Prague for the next 5.5 months.
At this exchange program at the Czech University of Life Sciences the tuition is free, students will receive a scholarship of 800 euros per month, which will cover the cost of accommodation, meals, use of local transport, funds for insurance, visa, travel, etc. – are covered separately (275 euros).
To participate in the program, you need: knowledge of English – B1 level (representatives of the Czech University will conduct an interview with potential participants in the exchange, motivation letter, resume (CV), as well as an extract from the record book). Several more students will be invited to the exchange for the next semesters, if you want to join the program – follow the updates on the university website, as well as the page of the international department.
Participation in such programs is a great opportunity to see the world, travel, make new useful acquaintances, improve communication skills, expand your worldview, gain invaluable experience in the international educational arena, adopt European values, improve your foreign language level, grow professionally and use their knowledge for successful self-realization.
