On 29 March, the Youth Career Forum, “Y.E.S.: Youth. Career. Recovery” was held, which brought together active youth from nine target communities in Ukraine. Students from Sumy National Agrarian University, led by Denys TRYPOLSKYI, coordinator of the Y.E.S.: Youth as a Pillar of Resilience project in Sumy region and a student of the Faculty of Economics and Management, joined the event.

The forum has become an important platform for students who want to realise their potential in a professional environment and contribute to the country’s recovery. The programme of the event included:
– Panel discussions with successful speakers who shared their experience and practical advice on building a career.
– Workshops and a career navigator to help participants better understand their professional opportunities and development prospects.
– The Alley of Opportunities, where students were able to communicate with potential employers and find new employment opportunities.

The project ‘Y.E.S.: Youth as a Pillar of Resilience’ is implemented by the Martin Club NGO as part of the humanitarian response of UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund in Ukraine, with financial support from the Republic of Korea.

The delegation from SNAU included: Denys TRYPOLSKYI, Milana LYSENKO, Anastasiia BUSHNIEVA, Valeriia POZDNIAKOVA, Olena RIABICHENKO, Vladyslava NAZARENKO, Maksym YERIN, Ihor STESHENKO, Zlata HRUSHKA, Roman BEZPARTOCHNYI, Olha YEREMENKO, Pavlo HORBACH.

The participation of SNAU students in such events not only broadens their professional horizons, but also helps to develop leadership skills, communication skills and active involvement in the processes of Ukraine’s recovery. We are grateful to the organisers of the forum for the opportunity to gain valuable experience, motivation and new acquaintances!
