Karina GELEVERIA, Anna KYRYCHENKO, and Iryna KULYCHENKO are students of Sumy National Agrarian University who have got academic scholarships from the President of Ukraine.
It was reported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in its Order No. 316 of 13.03.2024 “On the Award of Academic Scholarships of the President of Ukraine for the 2nd semester of the academic year 2023/2024”.
Ukraine strives to create a strong and competitive intellectual elite, which is a key factor in the country’s development in the modern world. In this context, students are of great importance, as they are the foundation of the future success of the Motherland. In order to support young people in their studies and stimulate their achievements in education and science, the President of Ukraine establishes additional academic scholarships.
The award of these scholarships is an important initiative aimed at encouraging students to engage in active learning, research and professional development. This programme was created to recognise and support the most talented and enthusiastic young people who are distinguished by their academic achievements and contribution to the development of science.
The main selection criteria for the Presidential Scholarships include academic and scientific achievements, participation in research work, and active social activities.
