The team of Sumy National Agrarian University, led by Vice-Rector for Research, Teaching and Academic Affairs Marharyta LYSHENKO, has successfully passed the first stage of selection to participate in the Academic Managers Professional Development Programme.
The programme is an important international initiative implemented by the British Council within the framework of the joint project of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the World Bank ‘Ukraine Improving Higher Education for Results Project’ (UIHERP).
The programme aims to strengthen the institutional capacity of Ukrainian higher education institutions by developing managerial competencies in strategic and financial management, good governance, human resources management, internationalisation and institutional change.
Out of 187 applications from higher education institutions subordinated to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, only 93 teams received a positive assessment and were invited to participate in the programme.
