SNAU WILL HELP THE MILITARY TO ADAPT TO CIVIL LIFE AFTER RETIREMENT

Military service is an honorable and noble cause. Thanks to our servicemen and volunteers, who defend their state, Ukraine is an independent state with a course for the highest world standards.

However, there comes a time when a soldier thinks about the transition to a peaceful civil life. This issue is especially relevant for the military, who are completing their service in the ATO zone and are trying to decide what to do next.

From the very beginning of the war in the East, Sumy National Agrarian University has taken an active position in supporting the Ukrainian military. Humanitarian aid, collected by students and teachers of SNAU, was sent to the ATO zone. In addition, according to the rector of the university Volodymyr Ladyka, the university was one of the first in Ukraine to raise the issue of providing free education for ATO participants and their children. As a result, 205 participants of the anti-terrorist operation and 117 children study at SNAU today.

SNAU is ready to continue to provide all possible support for the adaptation of the Ukrainian military. A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the University and the Ministry of Veterans’ Affairs of Ukraine. On behalf of the Ministry, the Memorandum was signed by Minister Yuliia Laputina, who is in Sumy Region on a working visit.
