SNAU YOUTH ELITE: THREE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE UNIVERSITY RECEIVED THE MAYOR’S AWARDS FOR YOUTH DAY

Youth Day was celebrated in Ukraine on the 27th of June. Young people are our hope and engine of change for the better. As a part of the celebration, the results of the city competition “Sumy Youth Elite”, which is held annually by the Sumy City Council, were summed up.
During the festive concert, Sumy Mayor Oleksandr Lysenko presented diplomas and valuable gifts to the winners of this year’s competition. It is nice to note that among the winners there are three representatives of Sumy National Agrarian University.
Thus, the second place in the nomination “Volunteering” was awarded to Kristina Malchenko; the second place in the nomination “Cultural and artistic activities” – Anna Mekhova; and the first place in the nomination “Environmental Activity” won Nataliia Yaroshenko, the SNAU graduate student.
“Smart, active, purposeful – these are the young people of Sumy city! Every day they get success in science, creativity and in other fields. I am glad that our youth has an active public position and I am sure that our country and our city will prosper thanks to their persistence and desire for the best”, – the Mayor highlighted during the award ceremony.
SNAU also joins to greetings. We are convinced that the real youth elite studies in Sumy NAU.
