On December 30, a solemn ceremony of awarding diplomas of higher education “Master” to graduates of the faculties of agricultural technologies and environmental management, economics and management, and engineering technologies took place within the walls of Sumy National Agrarian University.

The event traditionally began with the performance of the solemn anthem of the academy “Gaudeamus igitur” by the vocal studio “Struna” under the direction of Marina ROMANENKO.

As noted by the rector of the university – Ihor KOVALENKO:
“You have a diploma with military honors, because graduating in wartime is also no small achievement. You are the best! You are ours forever!”

139 students of the following specialties completed their studies at the Faculty of Agricultural Technologies and Environmental Management: “Agronomy”, “Plant Protection and Quarantine”, “Horticulture and Park Management”, “Forestry”, “Ecology”, “Tourism and Recreation”.

The Faculty of Economics and Management graduated 107 students this year. Masters were awarded to students in such specialties as: “Finance, Banking and Insurance”, “Marketing”, “Economics”, “Entrepreneurship and Trade”, “Management” (educational programs “Management of Organizations and Administration” and “Administrative Management”), “Accounting and Taxation”.

This year, 168 students graduated from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology in the specialties of “Agroengineering” and “Electrical Power Engineering”.

In their welcoming remarks to the graduates, the Dean of the Faculty of Agrotechnology and Environmental Management, Olga BAKUMENKO, and the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Svitlana LUKASH, noted that they were incredibly proud of how many unique and successful students were among those present, and wished them success in their further professional activities.

For their excellent qualities in social, educational and scientific work, the following were awarded the Rector’s thanks: Alina YERMOLENKO, Vadym KOSTIANENKO, Viktoriya BILOTSERKIVSKA, Yuriy BILOSHAPKA, Viktoriya SIDAKOVA, Dmytro KRYVOSHEIENKO, Tetiana SERIK, Olha OSTAPENKO, Yulia OSTAPENKO, Alina TERNOVA, Yana LAVSHCHENKO, Inna LAPINA, Kyrylo ARNAUTOV, Valentyna BYVALINA, Anita TESLYK, Ivan BERDIN, Viktoriya PAVLYUCHENKO, Yuriy LAVRYK.

Words of gratitude were expressed on behalf of the students by Alina TERNOVA, a graduate of the Faculty of Agricultural Technologies and Environmental Management, Tetyana SERIK, a graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Management, and Anton POLYVANYY, a graduate of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. They expressed sincere gratitude to their parents, teachers, classmates and SNAU for the fact that over the years they were able to grow not only as specialists, but also as people.
