On the 27th of May, the Sumy National Agrarian University celebrated Maslenitsa, which brought together students and students in a friendly, homely atmosphere. The event took place at the format of the charitable fair, with the aim of collecting money for the project “Student’s Fierce” for the addition of a drone.
The student self-government of SNAU set itself the goal of collecting 15 thousand hryvnias, and by the time the fair was underway, a total of 35,639 hryvnias had been collected from all eight faculties for charity!
The greatest profit was received by the Faculty of Biology and Technology – 17,399 hryvnias, for which they received certificates for the establishment of the Druzhba cinema.
Surrounding the sunset were dance numbers presented by the team of the folk ensemble of folk dance “SPRING”, during which time the girls of the Ukrainian Yuletide elected were inspired by the traditions of our ancestors and enchanted the spectators with their beauty, participants of the fair. Students from all faculties presented themed locations with sweets and handmade products, and took part in sports shops.
Particular respect was gained by sports performances, in which students demonstrated their intimacy, strength and showiness. There have been many types of sports, in which skin there is always a tickle. In the pouch, the winners of the offensive categories were:
– Lifting dumbbells (25 kg) – Mikhailo OSOBLIVETS, student of the Faculty of Economics and Management;
– Trips on a jumping rope – Diana DEREVYANCHENKO, student at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine;
– Darts – Dar’ya IVASCHUK, student of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Transport;
– Stuffing the ball – Danilo TODERYUK, student at the Faculty of Food Technologies.
There was also a huge number of participants in the photo competition #Snow_SNAU_Vibes, which brought us back from today’s cruelty and gave the opportunity to students and university students of SNAU to share the moisture in the beauty of the university, burned by the winter atmosphere. The following participants can boast of the most beautiful robots:
– 1st place – Alona POPOVA, student of the Faculty of Food Technologies;
– 2nd place – Volodymyr ROMANENKO, student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine;
– ІІІ place – Oleksandr SRIBRANETS, student of the Faculty of Agricultural Technologies and Environmental Studies.
The Holy Day of Maslenitsa ended with the symbolic ritual “Tree of Life”, at which time everyone could tie a stitch on the tree, making a wish for the tree.
