SNAU and its secluded structural departments cooperate closely with the Ministry of Education and Science, implementing advanced solutions and improving the quality of educational services. In addition, urgent problems of the functioning of institutions caused by martial law are jointly solved.
On September 8, 2023, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine for digital development, digital transformations and digitalization, Dmytro ZAVHORODNII, visited the secluded structural department “Sumy Vocational College of Sumy National Agrarian University”.
The meeting was held with the participation of the Director of the Department of Education and Science of the Sumy Regional State Administration Victoriia HROBOVA, the Vice-Rector for Academic and Educational Work of Sumy National Agrarian University Ihor KOVALENKO, the Director of Sumy Vocational College of SNAU” Olha ROHOVENKO.
Those present discussed the key issues related to the restoration of the college, the organization of the educational process in the conditions of martial law.
It will be recalled that the topic of discussion was dealing with the consequences of an enemy missile hitting the college building in 2022. A year ago, a similar meeting outlined ways to restore buildings and help affected students. Now those present summed up what had already been done and set new goals.
There are 6 secluded structural departments – vocational colleges in the structure of Sumy National Agrarian University. They train highly qualified specialists in various fields. Currently, 513 people are studying on 8 educational programs at Sumy Vocational College of SNAU.
