“Sumy. We kicked them in the guts” is a documentary film about the defense of our place during the first month of a full-scale war. The film director collected stories of people who took up arms and defended Sumy during the occupation. Black Fox production studio filmed events in Sumy, Trostianets, Okhtyrka.
The heroes of the film demonstrated the national Ukrainian courage and thirst for independence. People of different professions and with a different military experience defended ourcity. They were ready to sacrifice their own lives and stop the aggressor.
The staff of Sumy National Agrarian University attended the screening of the film on February 8, 2023. 115 students from all faculties, teachers and employees of our higher education institution were impressed by the courage of our defenders.
We thank the BlackFox Production studio for creating a film that touched the soul strings of every Sumy citizen, every Ukrainian.
