Agile ‘Agrohruschi’, strategic ‘Zakonnyky’ and friendly ‘Ekonomriznytsia’ – students of Sumy National Agrarian University met on the field and competed for the title of the best footballers.
Agrarvard students played three games. The first time between ‘Zakonnyky’ and ‘Ekonomriznytsia’ teams ended in a 1-1 draw. The second time brought victory to the ‘Zakonnyky’ team, with 2 goals on target. The first game ended with a score of 3:2.
During the second game, the ‘Ekonomriznytsia’ and ‘Agrohruschi’, teams met on the soccer field. However, none of them managed to open a score. The match ended in a draw.
‘Agrohrushchi’ won the third game with a lightning-fast victory.
Based on the points scored in 3 games, the teams were awarded prizes. The leader was ‘Agrohruschi’, the 2nd place went to ‘Zakonnyky’, and the bronze medal went to students from ‘Ekonomriznytsia’. Representatives of the Trade Union of Students and Postgraduates of the SNAU awarded the participants with valuable gifts, and the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology and Environmental Management Olga BAKUMENKO presented the winners with a soccer ball.
It is also worth noting the incredible behavior of the fans. The football field was filled with shouts of support and joy from the goals scored. The youth, together with the teams, experienced the tense moments of the game, suggested tactics and actions, and united for the sake of a common victory. Students showed thematic posters they had created themselves. The judges recognized the students who were on the side of the ‘Agrohruschi’ team as the best fans.
An interesting and intense game brought pleasure to absolutely everyone on the field: teams, fans, and judges. With smiles on their faces and extraordinary emotions, the students are looking forward to the next competition.
