The AgriSci-UA platform, a member of which is the Sumy NAU, announces a competition for mini-grants for research groups of teachers and graduate students and a competition for obtaining grants for mobility to the Czech Republic (Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague)

The Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague is announcing a call for mobility grants to support early-career researchers and a call for mini-grants for faculty and graduate research groups. These grant opportunities are designed to facilitate international collaboration, expand research opportunities, and professional development.

We invite researchers to apply for grants that will allow them to immerse themselves in a dynamic research environment, contribute to ongoing projects and advance their own research agendas.

Subject area
– Waste of war
– Consequences of loss of access to water sources (Black Sea)
– Deforestation as a result of the war
– Contaminated soils – potential consequences
– Violation of ecosystems
– Loss of biodiversity
– Air and water pollution
– Migration and its impact on the agricultural sector

Mobility.
The minimum duration of mobility is 5 days, with an additional 2 days allocated for travel. Each applicant will receive a one-off payment of at least €770 to cover all related costs, including travel, subsistence and accommodation costs.

Competition of mini-grants for research groups
Grants are intended to support young researchers in their scientific development, so the committee will use the following criteria for evaluating submitted applications:
– the uniqueness of the solved problem and the project proposal itself;
– the realism of the goals/planned results of the project;
– adequacy of requested financial costs;
– planned results of the project;
– the research results must be published in a scientific publication.
Important dates:
September 11 – the beginning of accepting applications
September 30 is the deadline for submitting applications
October 7 – Announcement of results
December 15 – Report on the achieved results (project of a scientific article)
The maximum grant amount is 950 euros
