On March 13, 2025, Sumy National Agrarian University hosted a solemn ceremony of awarding double master’s degrees in the Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security program. The diplomas were awarded to graduates who successfully completed their studies under the joint program of SNAU and the Royal Agricultural University (UK).

The honored guests of the event were:

Professor Mark HORTON, Vice-Chancellor for Research and Entrepreneurship at the Royal Agricultural University, joined the ceremony online. In his speech, he congratulated the graduates on reaching an important milestone in their professional development and emphasized the importance of the double degree program for the future of the agricultural industry.

In his speech, Ihor KOVALENKO, Rector of the SNAU, emphasized the importance of international cooperation and wished the graduates new achievements in their professional activities:
Today you receive not just diplomas, but knowledge that will become the key to the development of agriculture in our country. You have become part of the international community of professionals working to address global challenges. May your path be full of new achievements.

During the ceremony, the Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Volodymyr ARTYUKH presented the Head of the Regional State Administration with letters of appreciation for their significant contribution to the development of education and science:

Alina KARDASHEVA, Master of the SNAU and RAU double degree program, expressed her gratitude on behalf of the graduates:
