April 30, the Head of Sumy Regional State Administration R. Hryshchenko paid a visit to Sumy National Agrarian University. The Head of the Region thanked the University staff for their significant contribution to the creation of a modern European Center for Agrarian Education and congratulated on the 43rd anniversary of SNAU.
The Rector of the university V. Ladyka delivered a short presentation of the university, told about the structure of the university and the main stages of development. After that, R. Hryshchenko got acquainted with scientific and educational capacities of SNAU. He visited the newly created laboratories, the greenhouse complex, the indoor ground of the center for precision agriculture, the Research Institute of Potato Farming Problems.
The Head of the Region paid special attention to the scientific development of young scientists.
R. Hryshchenko highly praised the achievements of SNAU scientists, noting that their implementations would be of great benefit for the development of the Ukrainian agricultural sector of the economy, and Sumy region in particular.
