More than 150 students of SNAU and representatives of other educational institutions (Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Sumy State Pedagogical University named after Makarenko, Sumy State University), marched through the central streets of the city and started a festival by performing the youth anthem on the occasion of Sumy City Day.
Oleksandr Lysenko presented diplomas and gifts: Svitlana Zinchenko, the head of the department for educational work with students, received a diploma for a significant personal contribution to the development of student government, active public position, high professionalism; a student rector Daria Kravchenko received a diploma for a significant personal contribution to the development of student self-government, high creative skills, organization of cultural events.
The students Anastasiia Voda, Ruslan Hryshchuk, Anna Radchenko (their leaders Alina Bilovol and Oleksii Aleksieiev) gave a festive mood to Sumy residents and guests of the city within the framework of the festival. The choreographic perfomance was presented by the Exemplary Folk Dance Ensemble “VESNA” (a leader Olha Hetmanenko), Exemplary modern ballroom dance ensemble “SWAY” (leaders Kseniia Bliumska-Danko and Yurii Serhieiev), Exemplary modern dance ensemble “Sharm”(directed by Yelyzaveta Tatarchenko.)
