A VISIT OF THE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES WEIENSTEFAN-TRIZDORF (GERMANY)

Mr. Georg Schauer, a representative of the University of Applied Sciences Weienstephan-Trisdorf (Germany) came to SNAU with a series of lectures for students and teachers.

Since 2002, Sumy National Agrarian University has been an active participant and executor of DAAD projects in partnership with the University of Applied Sciences Weienstephan-Trisdorf (Germany). The Master’s program in Administrative Management (International Version of the MBA – Master of Business Administration in Agriculture) was launched with the active support of the German Academic Exchange Fund DAAD.

Every semester representatives of the partner university hold a series of lectures for students and teachers of Sumy NAU.

Thus, the series of lectures by Mr. George Schauer began on the 18th of October and will last until the 22nd of October. The Faculty of Economics and Management warmly welcomed Professor Schauer. His classes have already become an integral part of the educational process. Some excursions to agricultural enterprises of the region are also planned as a part of the guest lecturer’s visit.

Students of the joint master’s course “Administrative Management” and bachelor’s students majoring in the TOPAS project are actively involved in the work. There is a synergy of two international projects DAAD and TOPAS and a joint German-Ukrainian Master’s Course MBA.
