Sumy National Agrarian University received and planted 500 rose seedlings as part of the “Bloom! Help! Win!”
The initiative is implemented by the Podilska Hromada Community Foundation with the support of Decoplant. The campaign has already been joined by 9 regions of Ukraine, and more than 40 thousand rose bushes have been planted. It is the third year in a row that the corners of the Motherland have been decorated.
“Bloom! Help! Win!” is a charity event aimed at supporting the military who are currently serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and planting greenery in Ukraine. Educational institutions, hospitals, condominiums, and non-profit organizations have the opportunity to donate seedlings to support our heroes.
500 rose seedlings were planted on the territory of Sumy National Agrarian University. The flowering bushes will now adorn every faculty, symbolizing faith in the great Ukrainian victory and in the angels who protect our lives and sovereignty – the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Svitlana ZINCHENKO, an assistant at the Department of Administrative and Information Law of Sumy NAU, first learned about the campaign and initiated the involvement of our educational institution. The teacher says that the staff and students managed to combine business with pleasure:
“From now on, the blooming rose bushes will delight the eye. It’s nice to come to the university and admire such beauty. We also helped the military who defend us. We believe that each donation brings us closer to a common victory.”
The saplings were planted by employees and students. Such initiatives, as the experience of Sumy NAU has shown, are also designed to unite generations and entertain young people.
We are grateful to the Podilska Hromada Community Foundation for the seedlings! We are confident that supporting each other in difficult times of war can help to defeat the enemy!
