On the occasion of the holiday, a festive concert was held at Sumy NAU, during which the best students of all faculties were awarded. The Rector’s thanks for high academic achievements, an active position in life and promotion of the university image were solemnly presented by Vice-Rector for Research and International Activities Yurii Danko.
The Youth Centre “Romantyka” held an event during which the youth of our city had an opportunity to visit all institutions of higher education. According to old traditions Sumy NAU welcomed its guests with a loaf of bread and salt. The students of the Faculty of Agrotechnologies and Nature Resource Management together with guests made a tour around the territory of the institution. The students of the faculty of Food Technologies treated guests with cheese of own production. The representatives of the Faculty of Biology and Technology worked out commands with a dog; Law Faculty staff showed their guests an investigator’s suitcase. Sumy State University invited everybody to its museum, Sumy State Pedagogical University let its guests have a look at snakes and practise yoga.
