The next information meeting within the project “Expanding Formal Employment Opportunities Through the Development of Green and Craft Tourism” within the “Tourist Triangle of Sumy Region”” was held on the 10th of January, 2022 for Esman village council in Hlukhiv.
The event was attended by almost 50 representatives of the Esman village community, the city district branch of the Sumy Regional Employment Center, educational institutions, research institutions, public figures and media representatives.
The project manager, Olena Melnyk, told the audience about the details of cooperation with the community, acquainted with the terms of financial support for those who want to develop their own business and join the training, which will start in late January. The training “Start and Improve Your Business” will teach you how to determine the direction of business and implement your plan, how to carry out financial planning, how to select the necessary staff, as well as how to ensure the environmental friendliness of the enterprise.
Oleksandr Kovalenko, the Assistant Project Manager, spoke about successful start-ups that have already been implemented in Sumy Region and Ukraine and demonstrated interesting craft products that can be made. He also presented the community opportunities for participation in the project for: trainings “Start and improve your business”, retraining program from SNAU, start-up competition.
During the meeting the representatives of Esman village council put the organizers many questions about the peculiarities of the project.
Similar information meetings are planned to be held in other territorial communities of the project “Expanding Formal Employment Opportunities Through the Development of Green and Craft Tourism within the “Tourist Triangle of Sumy Region””.
The next meetings will take place in Novoslobidska and Putyvlska communities.
