The teachers of the Sumy National Agrarian University completed an internship within the framework of the ERASMUS+ AFISHE project – “Development of education in the field of aquaculture and fisheries for the Green Deal in Armenia and Ukraine: from education to ecology” at the University of Dubrovnik, Croatia.

The stay of Ukrainian scientists at a foreign university lasted two weeks, during which the teachers mastered the theoretical and practical components of individual modules of the master’s program “Aquaculture”. The training course was 90 hours in total.

The internship began with introductions and greetings by representatives of the University of Dubrovnik, in particular the coordinator of the project in Croatia Tetiana DOBROSLAVYCH, international delegations from Ukraine (Sumy National Agrarian University and National University of Water Management and Nature Management) and Armenia (Armenian National Agrarian University and International Scientific and Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Republic of Armenia). The participants discussed plans for further work within the framework of the stay, inspected the material and technical base of the host educational institution and visited the main structural units that ensure the educational process.

Ihor KOVALENKO, vice-rector for scientific, pedagogical and educational work of SNAU, had the opportunity to present our institution of higher education and share the experience of implementing the ERASMUS+ AFISHE grant project, as well as outline the possibilities of further cooperation.

A team of scientists of SNAU visited the restoration and reconstruction laboratories of material cultural and historical heritage and other objects of archeology of the University of Dubrovnik. The teachers were also invited to the student Radio Media Center and familiarized themselves with the work of the Laboratory-studio for the creation of media products.
