JOINT INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM “ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT” BY ACQUIN EUROPEAN ACCREDITATION AGENCY

Cooperation of Sumy NAU with Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences began in 1995. One of the areas of joint successful cooperation was the opening in 2002 of the international master’s program “Agricultural Management” Master of Business Administration in Agriculture – (MBA) in Ukrainian and German, the creation of a single network of parallel master’s programs in agricultural management with the recognition of training and examination assessment under the Bologna Agreement, the issuance of double diplomas and diplomas of international standard. Since 2015, English has been added to the languages ​​of study in this master’s program.

On November 29, 2019, SNAU became a member of an international consortium of 24 universities from 12 countries. A new extended agreement on the joint implementation of the double degree program was also signed with a German partner, which allowed to deepen the process of integration of SNAU into the international educational space. Since then, the master’s course has been transformed into “Administrative Management”, becoming increasingly popular among both Ukrainian and foreign students. Implementation of the international training program at Sumy NAU promotes the employment of graduates, increases the opportunities for the implementation of acquired knowledge and skills. Graduates of this program currently work as consultants and top managers in joint ventures and representative offices of German, Austrian and Swiss companies, in the field of domestic agribusiness, as teachers and researchers from leading European and Ukrainian universities, etc.

The master’s course was accredited on June 22, 2006 by the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD in April 2009. In November 2016, the specialty was successfully accredited by ACQUIN European accreditation agency. The purpose of international accreditation is to confirm the full compliance of the content and quality of the educational process in SNAU with European educational standards. Sumy NAU is currently in a consortium with Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences and other partner universities in the active phase of preparation for the joint re-accreditation of the master’s course by ACQUIN European accreditation agency. Sumy NAU signed a contract with ACQUIN European agency for accreditation of educational program “Administrative Management.” SNAU is actively involved in the preparatory process.
