On May 20, Sumy National Agrarian University held an amazing event. Every year this day is special. Students, teachers and staff dress in national clothes – colorful embroidered shirts.
The Day of Vyshyvanka at SNAU has already become a tradition. This year is not an exception. During the long break, everyone gathered on the porch of the main building and took a photo, which will be shared on social networks. After that, students of SNAU and colleges took part in a dance flash mob. All participants of the event were able to take bright photos in the picturesque territory of SNAU – in the middle of green lawns, red-leaved maples, blooming sakura or peonies.
Thus, the university supports the initiative of the Sumy Regional State Administration #Sumshchyna_in_vyshyvanka, which aims to develop national consciousness and patriotism in the younger generations and promote the national identification of every citizen.
