On the eve of the International Children’s Day, a charity event “Protect the Child – Save the Future” was held on the territory of Sumy National Agrarian University together with the Youth Center “Romantyka” and the Youth Policy Department. International Children’s Day is celebrated annually in more than 30 countries and is one of the oldest international holidays. This holiday was created to remind us that children are independent individuals with their own fears and problems. All children need support and protection from adults. This holiday seems especially important during the war, when many children became orphans, lost their homes or left their hometown.
Children are a miracle that fills the lives of every adult with joy and warmth. Our child is our landmark, our fantastic motivator. The best way to make children happy is to surround them with love and attention, warm their hearts and support, teach kindness and respect, give blessings and support in life.On this day all our children had dance flash mobs, photos with the champions of dog competitions, dance master classes from AndriiLiubchenko.
The children received incredible joy and pleasure from creativity. The psychological service of the department for organizing the educational activity with students held a master class for children in art therapy. Together with psychologists the children created a tree of a happy future, on which everyone left their mark, and also learned to create various drawings with the help of finger painting.
The winner of the Championship of Ukraine among choreographic groups, international and All-Ukrainian competitions, exemplary modern ballroom dance ensemble “SWAY” (SNAU) and modern ballroom dance ensemble “SKY” (school № 12) presented a patriotic composition “I am Ukraine”. The flash mob “Hymn of the Children of Ukraine” from schoolchildren of our glorious city was a magical end to the concert.
Animators, aqua make-up, fortune cookies, floristic workshops, interesting quizzes and games, photos of children with cartoon characters, riddles and prize draws – all this gave joy and fun to the little ones.
