A round table for representatives of Sumy Regional Council of high school students and leaders of a student government of Sumy National Agrarian University was held at SNAU.
The participants of the meeting discussed such issues as: prestigious specialties, quality education, guaranteed employment and why it is worth choosing SNAU. Svitlana ZINCHENKO, the Head of the Department for Organizing of Educational Work with students, told the audience about it. The topic “Leadership as a Platform for a Life Start” turned out to be no less interesting, because the Student Rector of the university, the Head of a separate branch of the Sumy region in the Ukrainian Association of Students – Daria KRAVCHENKO told a lot of interesting things about it. She used her own example to tell how she developed leadership qualities from school and how she regenerated the thirst for knowledge into purposefulness. Alyona SEMONENKO, the Student Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, a member of the PA “Progressive Development”, an organizer of the All-Ukrainian Festivals, told about her “Project Technologies and Joint Projects” and her experience of participation.
After a productive discussion of current topics and speeches, an excursion around the university and cosy gatherings with tea and sweets were organized for the audience.
