On September 8, 2020, the 16th International Scientific and Technical Conference “Air-Tightness, Vibration Safety and Environmental Safety of Pumping and Compressor Equipment” was co-organized by Sumy National Agrarian University.
Within the Conference the IV International Forum “Computer Modeling, Design, Manufacture and Operation of Pumping Equipment” – “PUMPS-2020” was held.
Traditionally, within the Conference the XX Specialized Seminar “Problems of Safe Operation of Compressor and Pumping Equipment in the Chemical Industry” will be held. On the results of the seminar a monograph “Problems of Safe Operation of Compressor and Pumping Equipment in Modern Industry”, prepared by Professor V.Tarelnyk and Ph.D., Associate Professor Y. Konoplianchenko, was recommended for publication by the Academic Council of Sumy National Agrarian University.
The COVID-19 pandemic introduced correction to the format of the conference, moving it to the virtual plane. Communication between the participants took place in a virtual session hall with online broadcast of reports on a separate YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/eoep3HcETRw. After selection and review the articles are planned to be published in the electronic Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS which is included in the databases Scopus and Web of Science).
