Every year on the third Sunday of November Ukrainians celebrate the day of an agricultural worker. This holiday was introduced by a presidential decree in 1993. It is difficult to overestimate its importance for Ukraine, where the agro-industrial complex gives almost 60% of production and almost 40% of foreign currency income.
Thanks to the daily work of those who work in the fields, on farms, in horticulture and processing, Ukraine can be confident in food security tomorrow, and can supply quality agricultural products abroad.
Sumy National Agrarian University is convinced that today the country has not exhausted the potential of the industry. Scientific developments in the field of agriculture and their implementation at enterprises will help communities to reach security, prosperity and sustainable development.
