On October 28, the results of the competition “The Best Young Agronomist 2020”, which has been conducted by the professional journal Agroexpert for 8 years in a row, took place in Kyiv. The aim of the competition is to identify and encourage talented young people working in the field of crop production. By the way, the project is managed by a SNAU graduate I. Korchagina.
The main part of the competition was held online. There were 150 participants. During the field part of the competition, they recorded their video reports in the fields.
Following the results of the competition, the jury determined the winners in the categories “Plant Protection”, “Breeding and Seed Production”, “Agrochemistry and Soil Science”, “Fruit and Vegetable Growing” and the winners of two special awards “The Best Young Agronomist. Soybean 2020” and “The Best Young Agronomist. AgroLady 2020”.
The winner in the category “Agrochemistry and Soil Science” was a graduate of Sumy National Agrarian University Yu. Shapovalov.
