The development strategy of Sumy National Agrarian University is based on the goals of sustainable
development. Although the strategy was approved only in 2020, the work on the implementation of
these goals has been carried out for a long time.
At last this work has received a great feedback! SNAU has been included in the GreenMetric World
University Rankings. It is an international ranking that assess the performance of universities on various
indicators, such as infrastructure, energy, climate change, waste management, water, transport and
environmental education.
The leaders of this ranking are such higher educational establishments as Wageningen University,
Oxford University and the University of Nottingham. This year Ukraine is represented by 17 universities.
SNAU takes the 8 th place. It is worth noting that SNAU has been included in the list of GreenMetric World
University Rankings for the first time.
It is pleasant that the desire of SNAU to take care of the world around us, thinking about future
generations, has found a feedback among international experts. So, we can say that the vector of
development of SNAU corresponds to the world trends!
